The exhibition Fast Fashion is a wandering exhibition considering fashion and it's dark sides. It was opened in March '15 at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg. Afterwards it went to Dresdener Hygienemuseum, to St. Gallen's Textilmuseum and to the Goethe Institut in South-East Asia and Australia. The next station will be the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum in Cologne in 2018.
NLF Team developed the exhibition display design together with Jesko Fezer and his Kooperative für Darstellungspolitik. The concept is based on the three chapters the exhibition consists of: Consumption, Economy and Ecology.
Through five displays the visitor is led through these chapters. Starting with the runway, the visitor crosses two advertising columns, shop windows, a clothing rail till he gets to a changing room. The Catalogue that accompanies the exhibition is also part of this display concept that leads from public advertisement into the shop where the consumption process is going to be finished.
Larissa, Nils and I designed the complete exhibition typography plus all the illustrations that are shown.
